A driving test is one of the most stressful things you are ever likely to do, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t share every bit of it on Facebook as you go!
These status updates will help make sure the day is shared with your friends in real-time, making them as much a part of the day as you and your examiner.
1. The Instructor Selfie!
Of course, what better way to start the day than with a selfie of you and your instructor. They might not be too keen, but smile and explain it’s important that the start of the day is commemorated online – they’ll understand.
2. “I just did a three-point turn!”
This is a biggie, every one of your friends will want to know if you had to do one, and if so how you go on, don’t disappoint them!
3. Questions asked by your instructor
Your friends are there to help, and they want to, so if your instructor asks a question you don’t know the answer to, don’t be afraid to post a quick update and ask!
4. The ‘dramatic’ video of your emergency stop
Your instructor will let you know when the emergency stop is coming, but if you start videoing yourself right after that warning your friends will NEVER see it coming – hilarious! (you might want to ask the instructor to hold the phone as emergency stops sometimes require two hands)
5. The “It’s going great / ok / terrible” update
Your friends will want news of your driving test, so don’t forget to let them know how you’re feeling – whether that’s happy, sad or nervous – they’ll appreciate the news!
6. “My examiner was a complete arse”
Failing your driving test is actually pretty likely, sorry. This is because most examiners are complete arseholes and will fail you for any old thing they think you’ve done wrong. I should know, I’ve had eight of them now! So don’t forget that final update explaining how it’s all their fault that you’ll probably need a few more lessons.
Better luck next time!
